شيماء نايف ( 38 عاما)
 عندما تحرر الجانب الايسر في كانون الثاني من العام الماضي، تقهقر مقاتلو “داعش” وانسحبوا إلى المدينة القديمة، ووضعوا المدفعية بالقرب من منزلنا في منطقة الميدان. شعرت ابنتي، جنات، البالغة من العمر ست سنوات بالرعب نتيجة إطلاق النار الذي لا هوادة فيه.
وبموجب قانون داعش، سُجن زوجي أحمد، سائق سيارة أجرة، لانه حلق لحيته، وفُرضت عليه غرامة لأنه شغل الأغاني في سيارته. كما جلد أبني الأكبر، طه (30)جلدة بسبب شعره وعدم حضور الصلوات. وإذا لم ترتدي المرأة حجاباُ، ستُجلد وتفرض عليها الغرامة.
طريق الهروب الوحيد أمامنا من المدينة القديمة التي يسيطر عليها التنظيم هو عبور النهر إلى الساحل الايسر، حيث كان يوجد مقر للجيش العراقي على الضفة المقابلة. مسلحو داعش ينتشرون في كل مكان، حرقوا السيارات وصادروا القوارب وتم ايداع الرجال الذين يحاولون الفرار من المدينة في السجن.
وبعد أن أصيب منزل جارنا بقذيفة هاون أسفرت عن مقتل تسعة من أفراد العائلة، حوصرنا في القبو الخاص بنا لأكثر من خمسة أشهر. في نهاية المطاف شعر زوجي، وبعض العائلات الأخرى، أنهم لا يستطيعون العيش في مكان خطر أكثر من ذلك. اذ كان القمح الممزوج بالماء هو الوجبة الغذائية الوحيدة لدينا، أطفالنا يتضورون جوعا، وقد أصبحت مشاهد الجثث الميتة أمر مألوف بشكل فظيع.
عزم أحمد على تحويل سريرنا ذو النفرين إلى قارب من أجل عبور النهر. ذهب احمد مع طه (16 عاما)، بهدف البحث عن “غالونات بلاستيكية” لكي يتمكن من الطوفان في النهر.
جنات وشقيقاها عبد الرحمن (10 أعوام) وعبد الملك (4 اعوام)، يلعبان في خارج المنزل، هز الانفجار المنزل بأكمله، وتشظ زجاج النوافذ وتحكمت الابواب.
هرع أحمد إلى المنزل، وجد جنات ميتة. فقال وهو يجهش بالبكاء: لم تعد هناك حاجة للفرار بعد الآن. علينا دفن الطفلة في المنزل.
لكنني عزمت على المغادرة مهما كان الثمن. وقلت: “أفضل المغادرة الليلة وأخذ جنات معي”.
عند الفجر أخرجنا السرير من القبو إلى النهر. غادرنا ومعنا خمس نساء في قلوبهن الرعب، وستة أطفال يجهشون بالبكاء. أعطيناهم المهدئات لتوقفوا عن البكاء. ولمدة ساعة من الزمن، أطفالي الجرحى يسيرون خلفي، بينما كانت أبنتي الميتة في حضني.  قلبي يخفق.
فجأة، بدأ مسلحو داعش بإطلاق النار علينا، وأصبح الامر أكثر سوءا عندما رد الجيش العراقي عليهم. رفعنا راية بيضاء من القماش، وجاء الجيش لإنقاذنا.
عبد الرحمن بحاجة إلى عملية لوقف النزيف من رأسه، بينما عبد الملك مصاب بشظية في رأسه شلت ذراعه. دفن أحمد جنات في الساحل الايسر دون علمي.
استأجرنا منزلا في الساحل الايسر، أبناؤنا يتلقون العلاج في المستشفى. وصلت الديون المترتبة عليّ الى أكثر من (9000) جنيه استرليني. فرحنا كثيرا لتحرير المدينة من داعش.
رجعنا إلى منزلنا في المدينة القديمة، الا ان جندياً عراقياً أخبرنا بأن منطقتنا لا تزال بحاجة إلى تطهير من العبوات الناسفة. أحضر ابن عمنا صورة لمنزلنا، لقد تحول الى رُكام.
استأجرنا منزلا قريبا، وقدم لنا أقاربنا بعض الأثاث. أشعر بحزن رهيب عندما أنظر إلى ابنيّ وهم يعانون من إصابات تحتاج الى وقت طويل لكي تشفى.

لقد صُدمت، ولا يمكنني النوم في الليل دون مهدئ. لا أستطيع تحمل كابوس فقدان جنات. أزورها واتحدث معها كما لو كانت صديقة، أقول لها ان إخوتها لايزالون ينتظرون عودتها، وينبغي ألا تقلق علينا.
