ماذا حل بـ “مسكنتة” في الموصل القديمة!

لسان الحرب سليط في الموصل القديمة، الكثير من آثار الدمار والخراب، لكن ثمة ناجون، نتحدث هذه المرة عن كنيسة “مسكنته” التي يعود تاريخ انشائها الى القرن العاشر الميلادي، وتقع في محلة المياسة بالمدينة القديمة.

هذه الكنيسة هي الوحيدة في العراق التي تحمل اسم القديسة “مسكنته” وفي نحو 1850 جددها البطريرك يوسف اودو، فيما قام البطريرك يوسف عمانوئيل الثاني  بتجديدها ثانية عام 1904، ثم رممها  عام 1947 المعاون البطريركي المطران اسطيفان كجو.

وفي عام 1954 نقل المطران سليمان الصائغ برج ناقوسها الى موضعه الحالي  وشهد عام 1976 تجديدا أخر للكنيسة تم على عهد المطران عمانوئيل ددي.

عدسة مراسل منصة الموصل الإعلامية – MMP يحيى آل عزام، سبقت الجميع لتلتقط صورا من داخل الكنيسة، التي تضم ثلاثة مذابح مع حنيات وزخارف وأعمدة رخامية وتحتضن ذخائر الشهيدة “مسكنته” في بيت القديسين وبقايا الكنيسة القديمة.

وتأتي أهميتها من أنها كاتدرائية مطرانية الكلدان في الموصل، منذ أوائل القرن 19 وحتى عام 1960، وشيدت على اسم القديسة مسكنته (شيرين) وابنيها في حدود القرن 10 ويأتي أقدم ذكر لها في مخطوطة مكتوبة سنة 1212 كما عثر في التجديد الأخير سنة 1976 على صناديق خشبية قديمة وذخائر قديسين معروضة حاليا في بيت القديسين، هذا ما كتبه الأب الراحل يوسف حبي في كتابه (كنائس الموصل).

وطالت أيادي داعش أهم النفائس في الكنيسة كالباب الملوكي المزخرف والمكتوب والنقوش المرمرية التي تزين المذبحين وما فوق الأعمدة والحنيات الخطية الكرشونية وترجع كلها الى تجديد سنة 1851.

وقبل سيطرة التنظيم على الموصل في حزيران/ يونيو 2014، كان يرتاد الكنيسة خلال قداديس يوم الأحد والأعياد الكنسية ما يقارب (80) مسيحيا كما تستقبل خلال فترة الصيف نحو (70) تلميذا وتلميذة من ابناء المنطقة يتلقون دورات تدريبية متنوعة.

وفي هذه الأثناء أقام أبناء مدينة الموصل (مسلمون ومسيحيون) أول قداس في المدينة القديمة، في كنيسة مار توما قريبا من هذه الكنيسة، ولتكن الرسالة دائما الدعوة للتعايش والسلام ونبذ التطرف والارهاب من رحم كل هذا الدمار.
