قصر طاوزند في الكوت يصارع البقاء وعوامل الاندثار

منزل تفوح منه رائحة الحلوى بين جدرانه الخارجية إذ شيدت بعض المحال خارجه لكنه مازال يحمل بين جدرانه السميكة قصصا تأريخية اختفى من كان يحكيها من شيوخ المدينة ونام في قبره، انه منزل الجنرال طاوزند قائد القوات البريطانية.
لا يترك أبو سعدي الإبراهيمي عادته في الجلوس أمام البيت التراثي الشهير الذي يطلُّ على نهر دجلة وسط مدينة الكوت (180 كلم) جنوبي بغداد، فهذا البيت يعيده إلى ذكريات أكثر من مئتي عام هي عمر تشييد المنزل فكل حجر فيه يؤرخ لحدث ما.
ورغم تصدعات الزمن والاهمال الذي طال ما بات يعرف بين أهالي الكوت بــــ” قصر طاوزند” بفعل الِقدم، لكنه من وجهة نظر الرجل المسن وهو أحد أفراد الأسرة التي تعود اليها ملكية البيت.
“يمثل طرازاً معمارياً يستحق أن تمتد له يد الاعمار”.
واتخذ القائد البريطاني الشهير القصر مقراً له ، حينما كان يقود معركة شرسة ضد القوات العثمانية في الكوت في العام 1914 التي انتهت بهزيمة جيشه، ووقوع العراق تحت الاحتلال العثماني .
ويصارع المنزل الذي يعدُّ معلماً حضارياً ويعكس جمال الحياة العراقية القديمة وبساطتها ، عوامل الطمس والاندثار، خصوصاً بعد توسع الحركة الاقتصادية في المنطقة التي يقع فيها، يقول أبو سعدي بأنه “بات آيلاً للسقوط في اية لحظة، وقيمته التاريخية فقدت بالكامل بعدما تحوّلت واجهته إلى متجر تجاري ، واندثر الإرث التاريخي الذي يفترض أن يبقى ذكرى للأجيال أدراج الرياح”.
وما بين الماضي والحاضر” تمثل المواقع الاثارية إرثاً ثقافياً للمحافظة وأبنائها الذين عاشوا الاحتلالين العثماني والبريطاني، والاهتمام بهذا الإرث الثقافي وما يمثله من تاريخ مشرق للمدينة، يمثل مسؤولية كبيرة من مسؤوليات الحكومة المحلية” يضيف الإبراهيمي لــــ”لــــــمنصة” .
ولم تفلح جميع الحملات التي نظمها ناشطون ومهتمون بالتراث في مدينة الكوت في وقف ضياع واندثار المواقع التراثية، بل لاتزال الكثير من المواقع تعاني الاهمال الواضح.
“المحافظة على قيمة القصر التاريخية واستملاك أرضه وتحويلها إلى مكان تراثي يحفظ جزء من تاريخ المدينة” يراه مدير البيت الثقافي في محافظة واسط مناف العتابي حلاً ملائماً لحفظ قيمته التاريخية ، معتبراً أن” وجود الأملاك الشخصية المحيطة ببعض المعالم التاريخية حدَّ من إِمكانية تأهيلها وتطويرها”.
ويبدي العتابي استغرابه مما يسميه “ضياع تاريخ المدن دون أن تحرك الجهات المعنية ساكناً” داعياً إلى “انتشال مثل هذه المواقع من واقعها السيئ”.
وليس بعيداً عما يقوله المعنيون يرى (حسنين على محمد) مفتش آثار وتراث واسط أن ملكية الدار الخاصة بالبيت هي التي حالت دون الاهتمام به وترميمه ، موضحاً بأن دائرته سبق وان طالبت الهيئة العامة للآثار باستملاك الدار، إلا أن ارتفاع السعر الذي طلبه صاحبه الشرعي، وقلة التخصيصات المالية الممنوحة للهيئة هي التي حالت دون استملاكه”.
وتضم مدينة الكوت العديد من المواقع التاريخية والآثارية التي تعرضت للاندثار والنبش والاهمال عقب العام 2003، وهو ما يعظم من مسؤولية الحفاظ على قصر طاوزند بصفته بيتاً تاريخياً يمثل أهمية خاصة لسكنة المدينة.
وعلى الرغم من دعوات الحفاظ على الممتلكات الآثارية في مدينة الكوت، إلا أن مفتش الآثار في واسط يعبر عن خيبة أمله في تحقيق ذلك ، موضحاً ” بأن دائرته لا تمتلك أي خيار لإنقاذ المكان بعدما كنا نفكر بتحويله الى متحف تراثي ، لكن احلامنا جوبهت بقلة التخصيص المالي الممنوح لدائرتنا”.
وبحسب مهندسين معماريين فان نسيج القصر العمراني مهدد بالسقوط الحتمي خلال السنوات المقبلة إذا لم ينتشل، وهو ما يعني ضياع قصصه القديمة التي تستنشق جدرانها وفناءها وزواياها المختلفة عبق الماضي.
