انتهى الاجتماع العشرين لمجلس أمناء مركز المرأة العربية للتدريب والبحوث كوثر والذي عقد في العاصمة التونسية بتوصيات تؤكد على ضرورة الاهتمام بموضوع المرأة والفتاة العربية في العلوم والتكنلوجيا والابتكار، والتركيز على النساء المؤثرات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي” على مستوى البحث للعامين المقبلين.
وانعقد اجتماع مجلس أمناء مركز المرأة العربية للتدريب والبحوث “كوثر” في دورته العشرين، بمشاركة ممثلين عن برنامج الخليج العربي للتنمية “أجفند” وعن هياكل الأمم المتحدة للمرأة والسكان والتنمية ووزارة شؤون المرأة والأسرة والطفولة والاتحاد الدولي لتنظيم الأسرة وجامعة الدول العربية والصندوق السعودي للتنمية والبنك الإسلامي للتنمية ووكالة التعاون الفني الألماني والمصرف العربي للتنمية في إفريقيا.
واصدر المركز الذي يتناول قضايا المرأة العربية في البحث والتطوير عام 2019 التقرير السابع لتنمية المرأة العربية حول “المساواة بين الجنسين في أجندة 2030 “دور المجتمع المدني والإعلام” والدليل التطبيقي حول نفس الموضوع والذي يضم (44) مبادرة ميدانية أنجزتها منظمات مجتمع مدني من 17 دولة عربية فضلا عن بعض التجارب الإقليمية.
واستكمالا لعمل المركز في مجال تطبيق اجندة التنمية 2030 فإن الاهتمام لعامي 2020-2021 سيركز على موضوعي “المرأة والفتاة العربيتين في العلوم التكنولوجية والابتكار” و”النساء المؤثرات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي”.
وقال المهندس يوسف البسام، نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة برنامج الخليج العربي للتنمية، الداعم الرئيسي للمركز، ان هناك نقلة نوعية في أنشطة مركز “كوثر” وتدخلاته في المنطقة العربية وخارجها، مثنيا على توجهات المركز الاستراتيجية لاسيما في ارتباطها بأجندة التنمية 2030.
من جانبه، أكد ناصر القحطاني، المدير التنفيذي لأجفند، اهتمامه وكل الأعضاء بما حققه مركز “كوثر” على مدى سنوات عديدة في اتجاه تحقيق التمكين الشامل للنساء في المنطقة العربية، ملتزما بمواصلة دعم المركز، وداعيا الشركاء إلى مساندة “كوثر” في مسيرته الرامية إلى النهوض بأوضاع النساء وحقوقهن، مشيرا إلى أنه “لا تنمية مستدامة دون تمكين المرأة”.
وأشاد الأعضاء بآليات المركز المؤسسية والمتمثلة في مركز الشمول المالي ومركز التدريب الإعلامي والمركز المرجعي لتبادل المعلومات باعتباره آليات أساسية لدعم تنفيذ أهداف أجندة 2030 في المنطقة العربية. وثمنت الدكتورة هيفاء أبو غزالة، الأمين العام المساعد، رئيس قطاع الشؤون الاجتماعية بجامعة الدول العربية الامتداد الجغرافي لتدخلات المركز بمسيرته في دعم قضايا المرأة.
وانجز مركز المرأة العربية للدراسات والبحوث “كوثر” خلال العام 2019، تسع دراسات وتقريرين إقليميين وسبعة تقارير وطنية وثلاثة أدلة تطبيقية، في مجالات : القيادة التغييرية النسائية والمشاركة السياسية والنوع الاجتماعي والتجارة وأجندة 2030 والعنف ضد النساء في الفضاءات العامة، وإدماج منظور النوع الاجتماعي في صناعة السينما، كما نفذ (57) دورة تدريبية، واستهدفت جميع انشطته بصفة مباشرة أكثر من (1500) شخصا في المنطقة العربية وخارجها.
