It is not strange that a women’s doctor’s clinic is crowded with dozens of women who are sick every day, but that a female doctor perform 11 female births in just 12 hours. This is far from reality, but it has already happened at the Euphrates Hospital in the middle of Najaf.

Dr. Abeer Turad was working in the hospital when she received several emergency cases. Some of them were in dangerous situation and others had no good health. She had to go into the operating room and carry out 11 operations in less than 12 hours.

The reason for this large number of operations is due to the presence of cases of risk to the mother or newborn or the existence of a previous operation in the mother, which means that the subsequent delivery is also a process, or leakage of the fluid with no birth and other causes.

The Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that what Dr. Abeer did is a rare case, as she came to the hospital on the day of her vigilante, a number of women who passed an emergency situation, which did not happen with other doctors.
