In August 2020, Iraq recorded the highest number of Coronavirus cases since the beginning of the Pandemic, with a total of 110,325 cases, an increase of 34,825 compared to last July.
The death rate decreased significantly in August, reaching 2% of the total number of cases, compared to 3% in July, despite the fact that the number of cases was 75,500 cases.
